Designed for coming alone
You do not need to bring a friend or break into an existing group. Everyone begins the experience together.
Join a small, guided social experience with five other people. Come alone. The SoMo app handles the activities and conversation flow, so you can relax and actually get to know the group.
For genuine friendship and community. Not dating. Not professional networking.
SoMo is currently invite-only. Message us on WhatsApp, receive your invite code, then download the app to finish joining. You can browse event dates, neighbourhoods and prices before requesting an invite.
SoMo removes the parts that usually make a social event awkward or uncertain.
You do not need to bring a friend or break into an existing group. Everyone begins the experience together.
Six is large enough for variety and small enough for everyone to participate without competing for airtime.
Playful games and prompts create momentum naturally. Nobody has to perform as a host or force conversation.
After the event, connect in the app only with people who also want to stay in touch.
Browse the date, time, neighbourhood, format and price. Book only when an event genuinely works for you.
Arrive on time and open the app. The group moves through the experience together, from easy icebreakers to better conversation.
Share feedback, exchange compliments and connect after the event when the interest is mutual.
The catalogue can keep changing, so repeat events do not have to feel repetitive.
Thoughtful small-group experiences with enough structure to make meeting easy.
App-guided experiences built to create laughter, stories and equal participation.
Lower-friction ways to experience the community before or between in-person plans.
Among members who book their first SoMo event, many come back for another evening, another group and another chance to meet someone new.
Every morning, SoMo members answer the same question. You discover people through humour, curiosity and the way they think—not through follower counts or polished profiles.
The daily prompt is the bridge. The real-world connection is the point.
Meeting new people should feel exciting, not exposing.
Events begin as a small shared experience rather than a high-pressure one-to-one meeting.
Illustrated avatars, initials and less emphasis on appearance help personality lead.
After the event, continued contact happens through mutual choice inside the app.
No creepy behaviour, contact harvesting, solicitation or disregard for another person’s boundaries.
“Some events help me skip small talk and befriend new people over a shared experience. Every event I've attended has been exciting, light-hearted with a touch of depth, and overwhelmingly earnest.”
“This was such a fun event. Safe space, good people, and a lot of activities to break the ice.”
“You actually meet people you'd never otherwise talk to.”
Yes. The entire format is designed for people who do not already know the group. You arrive alone, but you do not have to navigate the room alone.
You meet five other people and use the SoMo app to move through guided games, prompts and shared activities. The tone begins light and becomes more meaningful naturally.
The experience is product-led: the app guides the group so one person does not dominate or carry the event. Support is available when something goes wrong.
No. SoMo is intentionally for friendship and community. Dating-style solicitation, pitching and asking strangers for contact details before meeting do not belong here.
Most events start around ₹300. The exact price is visible before booking, along with date, time, location and available spots.
Events currently run across selected Bangalore neighbourhoods, including HSR Layout, Indiranagar, Jayanagar, Koramangala, Lavelle Road and Whitefield.
You do not need to be loud or instantly charismatic. Small groups and guided turns create room for quieter people to participate without fighting for attention.
